Piedmont Softball Association is dedicated to providing the very best softball experience possible for each and every girl interested in playing with us, whether she comes to us with years of formal softball training…

or is just beginning to play.

SPORTSMANSHIP and FUN are stressed at every level; in fact, they are our priorities. The league - coaches, players, parents -  prides itself on truly taking this seriously and has managed to win THE sportsmanship award offered at state tournaments in three of the last six years. TEAMWORK and HARD WORK are critical, as well; in the past, these four ingredients have led to a number of STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS for PSA girls -

NOTHING is impossible with PSA!

Offered are programs to challenge every player, as well as teaching all skills from the bottom up. Not only are we an “instructional” league, but we also offer tournament team play for girls interested (and we encourage ALL girls to become interested in this!). Along with regular practices, we have weekly pitching/catcher workouts for any PSA girls interested - again, whether experienced or new to these positions, regardless of age.

Our schedules try to offer as many games as possible against not only other PSA teams, but ANY other teams, no matter their affiliation, interested in playing games with us here or away.

Playing softball is fun…

and even more so playing softball on new fields (or ours) against all sorts of teams!

PSA conducts FUNDRAISERS during the year, featuring its famous annual Chili Bowl in March. All money raised goes entirely towards improvements in our girls' programs,

including keeping our registration fees so low.

Participate in and support our fundraisers; they benefit YOUR daughter!

Piedmont and your daughter's team need help with fundraising events, groundskeeping, scorekeeping, umping, coaching, team contacts, concession help, and much more.

Don't be afraid to volunteer in any capacity; you'll enjoy your daughter's PSA experience much more if you become involved and aren't afraid to learn something new yourself!

The league is overseen by a small board of directors that meets the first THURSDAY of every month. These are dinner meetings and ARE OPEN TO ANYONE INTERESTED,

including all parents and players.

If your daughter would like to play softball with us,

but you feel that your family's financial situation prevents it, PLEASE email.

PSA will waive registration fees and provide playing equipment for girls serious about playing softball with us if a family can't provide the fees themselves.

Also, transportation to/from practices and games may be available, too!

We're looking forward to meeting you SOON!
